W.J. (Jim) Funke began Clary in 1948 as a retailer of office equipment, primarily selling adding machines and cash registers. In the 1970's, Clary's product-line expanded to include the sale and service of office paper shredders. Since then, the sheer volume of documents needing destruction began to out-pace the capabilities of the humble paper shredding machine.
In 1998, in order to help our customers destroy their growing volume of sensitive information, Clary expanded into the document destruction business. In 2006, we expanded further into the management of documents by providing scanning and storage services.
Today, thousands of customers in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin trust Clary Document Management to securely, safely, and economically manage their documents.
